During the winter, Holiday Park Arber becomes the domain of Jack Frost. A thick blanket of snow turns the Bavarian Forest into a fairy-tale landscape. If you wish to spend your holiday in your own caravan on our campsite, or in one of our rustic Chalets, you will be able to experience the allure of winter at first hand. Our heated toilet blocks guarantee comfort all over the year.
The regional network of cross-country ski trails is right on our doorstep and many kilometres of regularly prepared trails start from here. "Langlaufzentrum Zwiesel" – a cross-country skiing centre – is situated next to the park and is responsible for maintaining the trails, some of which are even floodlit in the evening. For winter walkers, there’s a near limitless network of beautiful woodland hikes in the vicinity. Adults and children new to downhill skiing can take advantage of the nearby ski- school and draglift. The more experienced can use the free ski-bus which leaves right in front of the reception to take their skis to the largest skiing area in the Bavarian Forest, the "Große Arber".
After a long day of skiing you may store your skiing gear in our own, heated Gear- Room, which is also situated directly at the entrance of the park.
You then may as well take a dive in the heated, public indoor pool or relax in the Sauna Complex right next to the Holiday Park.
And if you want to go for a bite, various restaurants in the vicinity await your visit and welcome you with regional delights.
