As Easter is approaching, the town of Zwiesel invites you to the biggest Easter egg searching event in the Bavarian Forest. In the urban area alone, over 3,000 specially marked Easter eggs are hidden and may be searched by children under the age of 12 during the Easter holidays. Each found egg symbolizes a little prize, which can be picked up by the children in the city center. And while the Easterbunny is dressing up and colouring all his eggs, you can benefit from our Special Offers with discounts up to 50 % on each of our Chalets.

After several successful exhibition- weeks on various holiday fairs abroad, Ferienpark Arber will be exhibiting at the „Travel + Camping“- Fair in Essen from Wednesday, the 27th of February to Sunday, the 3rd of March. Our Team will be very happy to explain and inform interested visitors about all the excursions and attractions the National Park of the Bavarian Forest, the City of Zwiesel and along with it, the Holiday Park Arber itself, has to offer it´s guests. During the past two years Ferienpark Arber has worked very hard to reduce its energy consumption and its emission of harmful substances. After numerous efforts a significant decrease in energy consumption can be observed. By replacing the out-dated lighting with LED lighting and installing motion sensors in the sanitary blocks, no unnecessary energy is wasted any longer. From now on special low energy lamps replace the out-dated exterior lighting and the staff drives around the campsite in eco friendly electric golf carts.
The solar panels, which were installed on all the buildings of Ferienpark Arber in the fall of 2012, have regenerated 50% of the energy that Ferienpark Arber used during one year... Read more >
Skiing in the Bavarian Forest
Due to the great snow conditions the ski season at the Arber Mountain already started on the 15th of December. This week the local ski lift "Glass Mountain" opened its doors. The slope in Zwiesel is ideal for children and for those who recently started skiing. Ski courses are offered regularly at the "Glass Mountain" and are very competitively priced.
